A suspected thief has been beaten to pulp by an angry youth at Feyiase in the Bosomtwe district of the Ashanti region.
He is accused of allegedly stealing money, cooking pot, and clothing from residents.
The alleged thief was reportedly chased down by the angry residents after one of the women he stole screamed for help upon stepping on her legs whilst trying to tiptoe himself out of the room. He was apprehended, and allegedly beaten.

According to reports, the enraged residents stripped him naked before assaulting him.
Residents accused him as a serial thief who stole everything he could lay his hands on.
They also claimed thieves are left off the hook when apprehended and handed over to the police, the reason they took the law into their hands to assault him.
Speaking with Akoma News, a man said, “they’ve been stealing here recently. Some came yesterday and escaped but this one was eluded by luck. He entered about three rooms and stole cooking pots, phones and unfortunately stepped on one of the lady’s foot who got awake and screamed for help.”
“The police here are asleep. The least said about them, the better,” another added with one of the victims saying “I even felt pity for him and pleaded for him to be untied after seeing him in this state.”
