The Executive Secretary of the Ghana Hajj Secretariat, Alhaji Farouk Hamza, has expressed his utmost satisfaction with the ongoing orientation of prospective pilgrims for Hajj 2023.

The exercise which begun at Yendi on May 25, 2023 is for prospective pilgrims who have registered with accredited Hajj agents.

Alhaji Hamza who is leading this initiative said the idea is to bring together the would be pilgrims to educate, preach and medically screen them. He says the move is paying off due to the level of understanding and cooperation between pilgrims and the orientation team which is worthy of commendation.

Currently, the orientation train is in Tamale to engage with the prospective pilgrims on how to make their Hajj a fulfilled one.

The Executive Secretary acknowledges the efforts and contributions of Hajj agents in this exercise who have all contributed in bringing their pilgrims together to be oriented.

The orientation team will continue in Walewale, Bolgatanga and climax it for the Northern regions in Wa.
