The paramount chief of the Asebu Traditional Area in the Central region, Okatakyie Amanfi VII, has expressed optimism about a better Ghana through a Bawumia-Opoku Prempeh ticket.
The chief says he is confident the pair will deliver to the best of their ability in the interest of Ghanaians since they both represent a competent pair.
According to the paramount chief who is also a Professor and lectures at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), the ticket of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, is the ideal ticket for Ghana.
He says both candidates are hardworking and results-oriented, touting their passion to develop the country.
Okatakyie Amanfi prayed for protection for the pair, asking that good news come their way with the three remaining months for the polls.
“We pray that God protects them and their work, granting them peace. In the remaining three months before the election, we hope for good news, and I believe it will happen.
“As for Napo, he has done a lot for Ghana, and now that he is the Vice President, we pray he will fully support Dr Bawumia in this election. Their efforts will help Ghana stay strong.
“Looking at what they have done for the country, shows they are capable of helping even more.
“We thank God for bringing them together, and I believe, in the end, people will see the good work they have done for the country,” he said. “The entire NPP government should support these two so they can accomplish even more,” the chief stated at the visit of NAPO to his palace Friday, September 06, 2024.
