Ghanaian musician Kojo Blak has said that henceforth, he will not sign any contract without securing the services of a lawyer.
Blak said this during an interview on TV3’s The Afternoon Show with Anita and Godwin on January 28.
Ghana’s fast-rising musician said, “I live by one firm rule: never sign a contract without a lawyer.”
For Kojo Blak, it’s not about slowing opportunities down, but about protecting them. He reflected on how contract negotiations can be draining and risky, especially for young creatives eager to take the next big step.

Those experiences taught him that patience and proper legal review don’t just safeguard opportunities — they protect peace of mind and future security.
As his journey continues, Kojo Blak remains intentional about every agreement he signs, reminding young artists that while talent may open doors, understanding what you sign determines how far you can truly go.
The Afternoon Show airs from Monday to Thursday at 1pm-3pm on TV3 with Godwin and Anita.
