A Nigerian Afro-soul singer, Isaac Geralds is attempting to smash the record for the longest singing marathon by an individual.
In an attempt to surpass India’s Sunil Waghmare’s 2012 record of 105 hours of nonstop singing, Isaac is singing for 110 hours straight in an effort to raise $500,000 and awareness for kids with autism.
The marathon is currently underway in Washington, D.C. in the United States.
Isaac Geralds begun his attempt on Sunday, June 2 and is expected to finish Thursday, June 6.
“Isaac Geralds’ dedication is a testament to the power of perseverance and passion. Let’s rally behind him as he aims to brings awareness to AUTISM and break the Guinness World Records,” a post on his Instagram page said.

The funds raised will support two organizations which are, The Children’s National Hospital in DC and the Efe Irele Autism Foundation in Nigeria.
The autism community receives essential treatment and assistance from both organizations, and Isaac’s work will significantly improve the lives of these kids and their families.
Isaac Geralds is known as a seasoned musician and former finalist on MTN Project Fame.

He has made a name for himself in the music industry with hits like his debut album “Love and Heartbreak,” featuring collaborations with Tiwa Savage, Sound Sultan, Ladipoe, Eva, Stan Iyke, and Iceberg Slim.
