Constituency Women Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Region have declared their support for the re-election bid of General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong (JFK), declaring their total support and endorsement for his candidature.
Led by the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese Constituency Women’s Organiser, Madam Cecilia Esi Arhin-Gyan, the women gathered at Winneba in the Effutu Constituency during JFK’s Central Regional campaign tour, on August 25,2026, where he engaged executives from eight constituencies.
According to the women, their endorsement is rooted in JFK’s hard work, sincerity and the far-reaching reforms he has championed to strengthen the Party’s structures and empower its grassroots.
“We are here today to declare our support and endorsement for JFK because he has been honest and sincere in his service to the Party and to the women of our Party. We are beneficiaries of the reforms and structures he has put in place.”

They further expressed confidence that retaining JFK as General Secretary would strengthen the Party’s rebuilding efforts and position him to work effectively with the NPP’s Flagbearer, H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, towards the Party’s quest to win the 2028 general election and form a government they believe would place women’s empowerment, opportunities and participation at the heart of governance.
In a spirited message to their colleague Women Executives in the Bono Region, who had earlier declared their support for JFK, the Central Region women said they were equally determined to take ownership of the campaign.
“To our sisters in Bono Region, if you are supporting JFK, we are also carrying his campaign on our heads. We will work for him, campaign for him and ensure a landslide victory in Kumasi on 3rd October.”
The declaration adds to the growing grassroots support for JFK as he seeks a second term on the message of being PREPARED, WELL-POSITIONED and FOCUSED to REBUILD the NPP for victory in 2028.
For the Central Region Women Executives, their message to delegates is emphatic, retain JFK, strengthen the Party, empower women and rebuild for 2028.
