Member of Parliament for Assin South in the Central region, John Ntim Fordjour, is demanding an immediate apology from transgender musician, Angel Maxine, who is alleged to have said the MP is gay and has had sexual intercourse with him.
The legislator says he has been exposed to public ridicule and his reputation now being questioned following those claims, which caused him huge damage.
In a letter addressed to Angel Maxine, he is threatening to pursue legal action should Angel Maxine fail to retract and apologise within seven days starting from April 27, 2026.
Last week week, during a public engagement on the anti-LGBTQ bill, the MP denied the claims after it was mentioned by Sam George, the lead sponsor of the Bill.
