Ghana Akoma co-host, Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin, has condemned the unseriousness the New Patriotic Party government has attached to projects it initiated in the Ashanti Region.

According to Kofi, government has commissioned 52 projects since assuming office in 2017 with only 3 near completion.

He said “because the NPP know they would always get votes from residents of the region, it has never paid any attention to their needs” thereby neglecting the projects they promised them.

Speaking on Ghana Maakye, the joint morning show programme from Onua and Akoma TV/FM Monday, September 26, 2022, Kofi mentioned some of the key projects the government has cut sods on without seeing the light of progress.

“From 2017, this government has cut sods for 52 projects but as we speak only 3 of them are near completion.

“We can talk about the Boankra Inland Port, Five interchanges, Kaase Railway, Kumasi to Obuasi road, Afari Teaching Hospital, Sofoline interchange and a others,” Kofi enumerated.

Kofi Asante made the revelation whiles speaking on the maiden edition of Akoma FM and Onua TV/FM joint current affairs and political show he co-hosted with Captain Smart in Akoma FM studios in Kumasi.
