A violent clash between between residents of Nsuapemso and students of Osino Presby Senior High Technical School has led to the death of one person.

The incident which occurred in the Fanteakwa South district of the Eastern region also led to the burning into ashes of one vehicle.

TV3’s Eastern Regional correspondent, Yvonne Neequaye reports authorities have beefed up police presence in the school to avoid reprisal attack.

According to reports, an old tension between the students of Osino Presby Senior High Technical School and Nsutam Senior High Technical School led to an alleged beating of a student from Nsutem Monday, February 19, 2024.

Efforts by relatives of the Nsutem Senior High Technical Student to hold the culprit from the Osino Presby Senior High accountable degenerated into violence.

Residents held in the clash were beaten to pulp leaving one dead at the Osino Clinic with others sustaining injuries.

The Fanteakwa District Security Council and the Regional Security Council are liaising to keep calm in the area as they commence investigation to deal with any student found guilty.
