Some visuals intercepted by OnuaOnline from the Aflao border indicates neighbouring Togo has been hit by a serious fuel shortage forcing residents to rush to Ghana for purchase.
Commercial motor riders known in Ghana as Okada from the neighbouring West African country have stormed the country’s border on the Eastern corridor to keep their business in operation.
Meanwhile, Customs officials from the Ghana Revenue Authority have closed the border following the influx of Togolese riders.
