Police are investigating a misconduct of an officer who allegedly beat up a 32-year-old man to death at the West Hills Mall.
Sister of the deceased, Perpetual Didier, a Gospel artiste, narrating the incident on Onua TV/FM’s Maakye Tuesday, January 31, 2023, said the brother who was killed on Monday was supposed to leave for Germany on Tuesday before the unfortunate incident.
The brother, according to Perpetual, had visited the mall to purchase some things and also withdraw money.

But a scuffle ensued when the officer in question demanded to see what’s inside his bag. This resorted to the policeman knocking the young man to the ground and physically assaulting him till he passed on.

POLICE INVESTIGATE VIRAL VIDEO OF ALLEGED PROFESSIONAL MISCONDUCT
The attention of the Police Service has been drawn to a viral video in which a female who identifies herself as Perpetual Didier alleges that the action of a Police Officer has caused the death of her brother.
The Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB) has commenced investigation into the allegation and has contacted Madam Perpetual Didier to assist the investigation.
We would like to assure the public of a thorough investigation into the matter.
