The presidency is set to hold a commemorative service for the first year of President John Dramani Mahama’s administration at the forecourt of the Jubilee House today, Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
Held under the theme “Resetting. Rebuilding. Renewing.”, the ceremony is aimed at expressing gratitude for the country’s stability over the past year while reaffirming the government’s pledge to national renewal and inclusive governance.
The service, scheduled for 8:00 a.m., will draw religious leaders, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and invited guests to reflect on the Mahama administration’s first year in power.
The thanksgiving forms part of activities marking President Mahama’s first anniversary in office which also signals a moment of reflection, unity, and recommitment as the administration commences its second year.
