President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will from Monday August 8 to 10 start a two-day tour of the Northern Region.

Like his previous tours of some regions last year, the president will be inspecting some projects in the region.

Upon arrival, the president will move to North Star radio where he will grant an interview with Mohammed Gadafi.

The president will proceed to Yendi where he is expected to pay a courtesy call on the King of Dagbon Ndan Yaa-Naa Abukari II at the Gbewa Palace and subsequently cut sod for a dual carriage Eastern Corridor road in Yendi township and as well inspect the work on the Yendi Sports Stadium after which the president will then proceed to Saboba to inspect Agenda 111 project.

On day two, the president will visit Kpandai to inspect a new administrative block and Agenda 111 project after which he will move back to Bimbilla to cut sod for a dual carriage Eastern Corridor road in Bimbilla township and inspect a 1D1F project.

He will also commission a new administration block at Bimbilla College of Education.

On the 10th, president Akuffo-Addo will bring his tour of the region to an end after Inspecting work on a new Presidential Lodge Complex at the Northern Regional Cordinating Council.
