Winger Antoine Selorm Semenyo was on target for Manchester City in their 2-0 Premier League win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Ghanaian international doubled the lead for his side just before half time. Egyptian Omar Marmoush had clinched a sixth-minute opener at the Etihad.

The goal by Semenyo is his first for Pep Guardiola’s side in the Premier League since joining from AFC Bournemouth.

With the Cherrries, the nimble-footed attacker had found the back of the net 10 times in 20 Premier League games this season.

His first goal for Manchester City had come on his debut on Saturday, January 10 when he scored and assisted in the 10-1 drubbing of Exeter City in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup.

He was named Man of the Match in that game.

He also scored in his second game for City, in the EFL Cup, opening the score in the 2-0 win at Newcastle United.

He, however, failed to score in his Premier League debut against Manchester United as the Red Devils, under new Manager Michael Carrick, walked away with all the points in the 2-0 win.

Semenyo lasted the entire duration in Saturday’s game.
