Leadership of non-partisan and non-political civic movement, #FixTheCountry, together with other groups are staging a mammoth demonstration in the Northern regional capital, Tamale, on Constitution Day.
The January 7, 2023, protest is to climax a 10-week on-the-ground mobilization and civic education by the group in the Northern region.

In a release issued by the movement, the purpose of the demonstration is to remind authorities of the obsolescence of the 1992 Constitution and the need for a new one.
