On Saturday, October 12, 2024, thousands of enthusiastic supporters filled the streets of Tamale North to witness the launch of incumbent MP, Alhassan Suhuyini’s 2024 re-election campaign.

The launch was graced by key NDC parliamentarians, including former Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu, and North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, alongside other notable MPs.

These prominent figures rallied behind Suhuyini, commending his efforts in serving the people of Tamale North and urging the crowd to remain committed to ensuring his victory in the upcoming elections.

Several executives from the NDC also participated in the campaign launch.

Sam George, the MP for Ningo-Prampram, was among the attendees, lending his voice to the call for a collective push to secure victory for the party in 2024.

He emphasised the need for teamwork and a strategic approach as the NDC aims to increase its parliamentary majority.

During the event, Haruna Iddrisu energised the crowd, highlighting the stakes in the coming months leading up to the general elections.
