The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has told all his well-wishers and supporters of the NPP not to let the outcome of the December 7 elections dampen their spirits.
The NPP has lost both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
Speaking to well-wishers at his residence in Accra on Sunday, Dr Bawumia said “There is more life ahead, just relax, thank you very much.”
Earlier, Dr Bawumia conceded defeat and congratulated former President John Dramani Mahama for winning the general elections.
He also congratulated the NDC for winning the parliamentary election as well.
In his concession address on Sunday, December 8, he said “Let me say the data indicate former president Mahama has won the presidential election decisively.
“The NDC has also won the parliamentary elections even though we await the final collation of seats.”
