Until he gets sick or tired and stays home, Captain Smart, host of Maakye on Onua TV/FM has said nothing will let him keep quiet.
He says that’s the message he has professed in every meeting he has sat under over some years now.
He was condemning the sale of a portion of land at the Kotoka International Airport which has been sold to a politician.
Ranting on the show, he Friday, August 26, 2022, he indicated all lands at good locations have been grabbed by politicians, making it appear like politics is the only ‘profession’ to success.
Recounting the infamous ‘forever’ adjective attached to portions of the Achimota Forest Reserve, Captain Smart said neither the Ga nor Achimota Mantse even lay claim to parts of the forest but politicians have captured everything.
This, he said, he will always condemn without allowing anyone to shut him down.
“Every land at a good place in Ghana now belongs to politicians. They have made it look like if you are not a politician, you can’t own any good thing in the country. In every meeting I’ve sat in, I always say one thing — that nobody can tell me to keep quiet. The only time I’ll keep quiet is when I’m tired and do not come to work.”
“That land at the Kotoka International Airport has been sold. A politician has bought it. The Achimota Forest which has been willed and given to politicians, the Ga Mantse and not even the Achimota Mantse which has the forest on his land possesses portions in his name but the politicians have grabbed it,” he noted.
