Black Stars Deputy Captain Thomas Teye Partey will be available for selection on Tuesday, January 30 when Arsenal play Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League.

Partey is said to have returned to the first-team.

“Thomas had been working on recovering from an ongoing muscle issue that had seen him out of action since early October,” Arsenal said on its website on Thursday, January 25.

The first team trained at London Colney on Thursday.

Partey was part of the squad that travelled to Dubai for the Gunners’ mid-season training.

He was named in the Black Stars provisional squad but did not make the cut for the shortlist of 27.

In his absence, Ghana could not make it past the group phase of the tournament in La Côte d’Ivoire.
