Accra Hearts of Oak extended their unbeaten record in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League to four games after holding Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park to a goalless draw.
It was a fourth consecutive clean sheet for goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, who is set to travel to Casablanca on Saturday to join the Black Stars in camp.
The Hunters have been without a win so far and were hoping to break Hearts, who were sitting third on the table, ahead of the game on Friday.
But all efforts by the Hunters to tame Asare in post proved futile.
A few chances that came the way of both sides could not break the deadlock as they had to share the spoils.
With a point from the Bono Region, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s side move a step up to second behind Heart of Lions.
Bechem Utd also move up to 14th. Their next game will be in Wenchi against Young Apostles.
Hearts of Oak will prepare to welcome Asante Kotoko in one of the most anticipated clashes in the domestic league.
