Tiktoker and host of Onua FM’s Midmorning show, Felicia Osei, has clarified the rejection of the ransom given her and some colleagues at UTV.
About 21 popular tiktokers including Felicia Osei, Hajia Bintu and others were invited to a programme at UTV called ‘UTV day with the stars’ which was also the birthday of Father Dickson, General Manager of Despite Media.

After the programme, they were given ₵3,000 to share, meaning about a ₵140 each. The rate caused a stir on social media with many teasing them for being worth that amount for the show they put up on the TV.
But the Tiktokers rejected the amount with rumours that it was too small.
But speaking on her show Monday, January 9, 2023, Felicia Osei said their reaction was out of respect rather than what was being peddled on social media.
