A lady has abandoned her day-old baby at the entrance to the room of the pastor of New Covenant Apostolic Church at Kpong in the Eastern region.
According to sources, the pastor woke up to see the baby with her uncut umbilical cord lying in front of his gate with a suicide note.
Speaking on Maakye with Captain Smart Monday, July 17, 2023, Assembly member of Kpong Ahujo, Raymond Gborson, said they hurriedly carried the innocent baby to the hospital to get her umbilical cord cut and they are hoping that the mother rescinds her decision to take her life and return for the baby.
