Chairperson and leader of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Nana Akosua Frimpomaa has vented her anger on the Minister of Communications and Digitalisation, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, for “deliberately leading Ghanaians into a pit.”
According to her, it is either “Ursula Owusu doesn’t know what she is doing or she knows but is doing it deliberately.”
She has described her as a “clueless dictator” who is going around exhibiting her ignorance on the danger she is leading Ghana into by exposing citizens biodata to foreigners.
Her comment follows the blocking of her SIM card and other employees of hers who have not registered their SIMs yet, denying them access to run their online business.
Her worry with the SIM reregistration exercise is the fact that government is selling the biodata of Ghanaians to foreign private company instead of the state keeping it as a valuable asset.
