A 46-year-old gold dealer has been shot to death with two others by armed robbers Wednesday evening at Wassa Ntwetwena in the Wassa Amenfi East Municipality of the Western region.

The robbers, six in number, injured one other who is currently battling for his life at the Wassa Akropong District Hospital.

Nana Ackaah tells OnuaOnline

the robbers attacked the gold dealer, whose name was given as ‘Red’ in his office about 30 minutes after selling his gold at Tarkwa.

The six, whose faces were not covered, attacked the man in his office beside the roadside, shot him with one other guy who was in his office with him, leaving both dead.

Whilst eloping, the robbers shot sporadically to scare people away hitting two people in a trotro in the process. One died on the spot with the other in critical condition.

As at the time this report was being filed, none of the robbers had been arrested.
