Some victims of Nana Agradaa’s ‘sika gari’ scam are calling on Ghanaians for transportation after being stranded at her church premises.

Patricia Asiedua, a.k.a. Nana Agradaa, has scammed people under the guise of doubling their monies for them after running an ad for people to come for money in her church.

She showcased some GH₵300,000.00 in a viral video which made people troop to her church to get their monies troubled.

Over 1,000 persons fell victim to her 419 scam.

Despite the suspect being arrested by the Ghana Police Service, some of the victims are still at her premises anticipating a transportation to get back home.

One victim who spoke with Onua News’s Nana Yaw Asare said their hopes of making money from the money-doubling scheme became a fiasco after everything she sent was syphoned including her transportation.

“I saw the add on TV and I came with GH₵1,000 because I needed money to trade. I came from Sunyani. I gave her everything without leaving even lorry fare because she said she was going to give us money. She took everything even the coins. Someone even had to give me money,” a lady noted.

“Old men and women all came not knowing the people she shared the money with are all her people. She gave some ₵700, others ₵1,000. So our money is gone. Now she called our leaders and asked us to sit down.

“Then she told us to release them with cash. One of her people came to donate 25 million (GH₵2,500) for 200 million (GH₵20,000) and another also got 50 million (GH₵5,000).

“One of her pastors also came for 50 million (GH₵5,000) for two people. So those of us the visitors who donated got nothing. Meanwhile none of her people made any of the payments.

“So we asked her to give us lorry fare and even that she didn’t want to. So we pleaded with someone who went to apologise on our behalf and she made us queue.

“She asked us where we were each going. If you tell her your transportation is 40 Cedis, then she gives you 10 Cedis. If you refuse, you have to sleep over. For those in Central region, it is 5 Cedis.

“So she gave some woman transportation to take us home and come this morning for our transportation. So we are here this morning but she is not here,” she cried.
