Samuel Koku Sitsofe Anyidoho has taken John Dramani Mahama’s promise to expunge the payment of ex-gratia with a pinch of salt.

The former President relayed during a campaign launch in the Volta region that he will scrap ex-gratia payment for Article 71 office holders if given the nod as president again.

In a tweet made by the former deputy General Secretary of the NDC Monday, March 6, 2023, he said John Mahama’s failure to implement what the white paper on the Constitutional Review Committee said on emoluments is enough grounds to doubt the promise he is making.

“I don’t trust John Mahama if he says he will scrap ex-gratia. Why did he not implement the CRC White Paper on, Emoluments?” the tweet clarified.

Meanwhile, founder of the Atta Mills Institute also noted “I am prepared to debate John Dramani Mahama on how he betrayed President Atta-Mills. I don’t trust him and will never trust him.”

He also said there is an exposition he will make to reveal some truth.

“People created flesh, for others to eat and arrogantly throw the dry bones at us in a, dead goat and lame horse manner. We shall speak to the, flesh, and expose the dry bones,” he added.
