A gory accident on the Sehwi Juaboso – Afere road in the Western North region has claimed one life leaving 23 people injured and admitted to the Juaboso Government Hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the victims were traveling from Aboaboso to Afere all in the Bodi district for a funeral celebration. Few minutes into the entry of the Afere community, the back-left tyre of the Sprinter bus with registration number ER 1993-13 busted, veered off the road and headed into the bush.
One young lady died on the spot and the rest, including the driver, were sent to the hospital for treatment.
Francis Adama revealed this is not the first time he is witnessing such an accident but hadn’t been serious as Saturday, May 20, 2023’s own. He seized the opportunity to advise the drivers who ply the road to be careful when using it since accidents have been occurring there frequently.
