They stunned the five-time African champions in front of vociferous spectators at the 75,000-capacity Cairo International Stadium.

Zamalek, who won the competition in 2019, touched down at the Kumasi International Airport in a chartered flight.

Per their itinerary, they are scheduled to hold their first training on Friday ahead of a pre-match press conference on Saturday.

The Egyptians will be second club from the north African country to play at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this year.
