New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters in the Akyem Swedru constituency of the Eastern region have threatened to vote skirt and blouse in the 2024 general elections.
This is to register their displeasure with the abysmal performance of Kennedy Osei Nyarko, the Member of Parliament for the area.
They have thus cautioned the delegates to replace the incumbent MP in the NPP forthcoming Parliamentary and Presidential elections.
The fuming constituents speaking to Onua News in an interview said the MP cannot boast of any project he has completed despite serving for three terms.

They are livid the Legislator failed to use his office as Chairman of the Select Committee on Roads and Transport in Parliament to lobby and get their roads constructed.
They have therefore inveighed the lawmaker for his negligence and continued disrespect for the community in terms of development.
They have also bemoaned him for neglecting the people who campaigned and voted for him stressing that his attitude is making the party unpopular in the constituency.
They have expressed fret over what they have described as ‘’gross disrespect and divisive attitude’’ of the MP and have urged the youth in the area to rise up and join forces against him in the NPP primaries.

They were quick to add that they would vote massively for any one elected as presidential candidate for the NPP in the 2024 polls but would strongly vote against Kennedy Osei Nyarko should the delegates dare to elect him again.
