Management of Accra Hearts of Oak have dismissed reports that coach Aboubakar Ouattara and his charges have been given a five-match ultimatum.
The club described the reports as “entirely false” and “fabricated and should therefore be disregarded as such”.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, September 11, management rather called upon all Phobians “not to let such negative write-ups and comments from a section of the media and individuals who do not have our interest at heart to divide our front but remain united and let our support count”.
Hearts fans expressed displeasure last Sunday following the team’s 1-0 home loss to debutants Basake Holy Stars.
The players and coach were booed.
