A vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a vote for loyalty, commitment, and dedication, President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has intimated.
President Akufo-Addo has extolled the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) saying his commitment towards their common goal is unflinching.
He has described him as a loyal and committed partner having worked with him for almost 20 years.
Speaking to chiefs and opinion leaders in Wa, the Upper West regional capital Wednesday, October 02, 2024, President Akufo-Addo said Bawumia is so loyal to their cause that he has never doubted his dedication towards it.
Akufo-Addo encouraged Ghanaians to support Bawumia in the upcoming 2024 elections to continue their agenda.
“In the nearly 20 years that I have been working with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, I have not had one day, one occasion to doubt his loyalty, to doubt his commitment to our common goal. And I have come here to ask you for your support to make Bawumia break the 8, he stated.
In his remarks, President Akufo-Addo also criticized the opposition leader, John Dramani Mahama, urging voters to choose Bawumia as the candidate capable of building on the progress the NPP has made.
“I see that the former president is saying all kinds of things about the number 8 that he chose. That it means he is going to win. Breaking the 8 and having the number 8, that is not a good sign at all.”
