The overlord of the Dagbon Kingdom, Ya-Na Abukari Mahama ll, has honoured philanthropist Dr. Love Konadu at the Gbewa Palace in Yendi.
Dr. Konadu was in Yendi at the behest of Ya-Na Abukari Mahama ll, who was impressed with her works not only as a philanthropist as a motivational speaker and an on-air radio personality in Obuasi.
Ya-Na Abukari Mahama ll presented a traditional rich Dagomba cloth to Dr. Love Konadu as a symbol of his appreciation to her good works.
He praised her for the dedication to work and commitment to do more to advance the cause of the vulnerable and the less privileged in the society.
Dr. Konadu is also the President of Obuasi-based NGO Mama Love Foundation, known for donating to the vulnerable and less privileged as well as offering skills development training for women.
She went to Yendi as part of the entourage of the newly enskinned Dagomba Chief of Obuasi Naa Mohammed Awal Abubakari.
They visited the ongoing construction of the new palace for Yaa Naa.
