An Albert Amoah moment of brilliance with 10 minutes from time gave Asante Kotoko a 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in the semi-finals of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup.
It was a game to savour for interim coach Abdul-Karim Zito, who has set his sights on winning the competition in the quest for a double with the club.
It was a feisty affair between the two Ghana Premier League clubs at the T n A Stadium in Tarkwa as they battled for a spot in the final to face Golden Kick SC, who had a day earlier vanquished Attram De Visser to make the final.

After well over 80 minutes of action, Amoah stepped up to rescue the Porcupine Warriors.
His goal sent Samuel Boadu’s side packing out of the competition.
Kotoko and Golden Kick will, therefore, battle for the trophy on Sunday, June 15 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The winner of the MTN FA Cup will represent Ghana in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
