Last Saturday saw La-Nkwantanang and Korle Gonno emerge as Zone 3 representatives of the Onua-GC Brand Community League.
The two emerged as winners of the two semi-final matches and have booked their places in the grand finale of the League.
Coincidentally, La-Nkwantanang’s early goal against Osu in the very first game at the Teshie McDan Park saw them make the last four.

In the second game, home side Teshie Agblezaa gave up a 1-0 lead to draw one-all with Chorkor.
The south-most Accra community emerged triumphant from the resulting penalty shoot-outs 6-5 to set up a date in the decider against La-Nkwantanang.
The third match between Nungua United and La Town 11 also went to penalties after it had ended 1-1.
La Town 11 won 8-7 in the shootouts to await the winner of the final match between Korle Gonno and Spintex Manet.
Korle Gonno pipped their opponents to qualify to the next round of the competition.
With the four teams determined at this stage, it was down to who got the nod to represent Zone 3 in the grand-finale slated for the La McDan Park in August.
The first clash saw the longest shootouts thus far in the League after a goalless draw.
Underdogs La-Nkwantanang won 10-9 over Chorkor.
Chorkor’s final kick stirred controversy as the ball went past the goalkeeper, Ammed Sharubutu Jnr, but could not cross the line.
After tempers were settled, it was the turn of Korle Gonno and La Town 11.
The former won 4-3 to book the final slot.
The gala goes to the fourth and final zone, Zone 4, scheduled to take place at Tuba AstroTurf on Saturday, August 2.
