Reincarnated or just high IQ? Are the ancestors revisiting?
These and many more have been the questions boggling the minds of several others following the TV3’s The Afternoon show episode with the incredible talents: Nana Afua and Sean The Scientist.
The hosts, Godwin and Anita, could not help but marvel at the prolific display of intellect by these young brains.
The concept of brilliance is a vast one, and even more especially when it transcends human comprehension. Everyone possesses a good grasp of skills in the field nature has endowed them with. While some are exquisite in designated fields, others have proven to be exceptionally rounded.
The latter is the case of these unique children. “When I make clothes, my intention is to make people feel confident in their apparel and develop a stronger sense of connection to their African roots “. This was the response of young Nana Afua when questioned about the inspiration behind her fashion skills.

Nana Afua (Aseye, as affectionately called by her mother to wit praise
“I took that account into prayers. I opposed medical advice to have the pregnancy terminated. Nothing was going to impede my desperation for a baby. I took a leap to push through natural delivery because I believed that doing so would mean an ejection of every form of conditional inconveniences; a decision I’m glad to have stood by”.
Afua has been a wonder from infancy. It is therefore comforting that she has risen to become such a good orator at six years old. According to her mother, Aseye was once nominated by her tutors to deliver an opening speech at a school gathering while still in kindergarten.
This feature bears a striking relation to the story of Sean Atitsogbe, the Science kid who has appeared on international platforms. It was intriguing to find out from the mother of the ten-year-old that at just nine (9) months, he could read like a pro.
What’s more? He knew the letters of the alphabet before his mum intended to teach him. What Sean knows at just ten years old is fascinating. Jaws dropped when he stated that he knew the Greek alphabet as well.

“From infancy, he had always expressed intense interest in educational content beyond his age bracket”, Sean’s mother revealed.
When asked what would have been his invention as an established scientist, the young lad shared that he would have invented ‘a flying chair ‘, one that could ease mobility and be convenient for all to use.
He added that he is keenly walking in the path of Neil Degrasse Tyson, American astrophysicist and science communicator. The prodigy also revealed plans to become a Neurocardio surgeon.
To debunk the obvious debate and generalization of scientists as atheists, Sean mentions his belief in God and His Supremacy. Nana Afua also divulges her dream of becoming a paediatric neurosurgeon.
In a short message of advice, Sean talks about the Ghanaian curriculum being reviewed to entrust students with studying subjects of their choices and with direct relation to their future professions.
