With three decades of experience in the media, she has championed the course of advocacy for the vulnerable and proven times without number, to be the voice of the people.
Oheneyere’s impact is felt across the length and breadth of the country. With such remarkable credit, she has held her head up in high esteem. However, as with anyone else, her journey has not been one with only roses.
While on the Afternoon show with Anita Akuffo on September 15, the Standpoint host recounted some challenges she has faced in her career.
“I have heard a lot from the public. While some critics were positive, others waste no time to throw me in the mud. I can say I am the most vilified woman in the media space”, she narrated. According to Gifty Anti, these backlash stem from her feminism and passion for justice.
In all these, she has kept a resilient spirit and fortitude to keep going. “When I’m overwhelmed, I shed tears and move on. I’ve been depressed before, but I still rise. I have even written 8 books”, she answered, when asked how she handles pressure.
She ended the inspirational episode with a piece of advice to followers to not succumb to pressures and maintain a good mindset at all times.
