Swedru All Blacks have been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after just their first match upon return to top-flight domestic football.

The Black Magicians lost 2-1 to Nations FC in their opening game of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League on Sunday, September 14.

They had taken the lead against the Abrankese-based side but a strong second-half display saw Kassim Mingle’s team overturn the deficit.

After the game, the 2024/25 Division One Zone 2 winners were adjudged to have used jerseys without proper identification of players.

They have been given up till Wednesday, September 17 “to respond to the charges”.

The same charge was slapped on former GPL winners Medeama SC, who sit atop the League after a 2-0 away win over Young Apostles FC.
