Swedru All Blacks suffered their first home defeat after a year following a second-half strike by Bibiani Goldstars SC in their Matchweek 4 encounter at the Swedru Sports Stadium.

The Black Magicians had qualified from Zone 2 of the 2024/25 Division One League with an impressive home record of not having lost a game.

Their first game at the fortress after their return to the top-flight league ended 3-0 at the expense of former Ghana Premier League champions Berekum Chelsea.

On Saturday, the Ozii Ozaa Boys welcomed Bibiani Goldstars SC to their home grounds.

After a goalless first half, the Miners broke the deadlock just in the first minute of the second half.

Michael Nkoah took advantage of a defensive blunder to tap in the winner for the champions as they secure their first away points this season.

They had defeated Bechem United 2-1 on the opening day of the season before their CAF Champions League campaign.

They, therefore, have two outstanding games to play.

Before they return to Bibiani to play their next game against Basake Holy Stars, Goldstars will clear their outstanding game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Wednesday, October 8.

All Blacks, on the other hand, will travel to Samreboi to face FC Samartex 1996 in their next game in the league.
