A woman alleged to be a commercial sex worker believed to be operating in Sekondi in the Western region has been severely assaulted by a guy who went to solicit for her ‘service’.
The victim, a Nigerian who gave her name as Nancy, tells CONNECT FM’s Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson the guy approached her for her service last Friday night, December 26, 2025, which was the Boxing Day.
They agreed on 50 cedis for a short time and went to the guy’s house.
Upon realising the client was going beyond the agreed time, she told him she was tired and that, she could not continue.
That was what broke the camel’s back
“He wanted to take the 50 cedis back but I told him I had satisfied him so I would not refund it. Then he demanded my mobile phone but I wouldn’t give to him either, and that was when he started assaulting me mercilessly,” she lamented.
According to her, she has since reported the matter to the Sekondi Police and has been given a medical form to go to the hospital for treatment.
