Police have arrested a man in connection with the killing of a 56-year-old at a farm near Obomofodensua in the Suhum municipality of the Eastern region.

The deceased, identified as Enoch Obiri, according to reports, was found with multiple stab wounds at Soronko Farms.

The suspect, Eric Kenny, is in police custody, assisting with investigations.

Police say the Friday, February 13, 2026 incident saw Mr. Obiri sustaining stab woulds to his left arm and abdomen at the Soronko farms.

Meanwhile, preliminary investigations have shown that the deceased, Enoch Obiri, had earlier been threatened on several occasions by the suspect, Kenny.

Police say the threats were linked to a suspected relationship between Mr Obiri and Kenny’s wife.

Investigators also say Kenny was seen in the area on the day of the incident, a detail they believe places him at the scene.

The police announced Kenny’s arrest on March 31, 2026, through a post on its Facebook page. He remains in custody and will be put before court, the police said.
