The Black Princesses have booked their ticket to the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup to be held in Poland following a 1-1 away draw against Uganda’s Queen Cranes.

The Ghanaians had come from a goal down to win the first leg 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.

It became daunting for the Princesses as the Ugandans opened the score from an own goal by Precious Asante, drawing them level on aggregate as early as the sixth minute at the FUFA Stadium in Kampala.

However, Linda Owusu Ansah scored an astonishing free kick in the second half as the Princesses kept their composure to hold their opponents in their own backyard.

Not even a numerical disadvantage will stop the Princesses from keeping the score level till the referee’s final whistle.

It ended 1-1 in Kampala but 3-2 on aggregate for Ghana, who will yet again play at the World Cup.
