Majority of the 281 NPP delegates in the Bono region have retained the incumbent Chairman Kwame Baffour Abronye in the regional delegates elections with 201 votes cast.
The Chairman elect Kwame Baffour Abronye has sent a warning to the NDC that he is going to work together with all the contesting candidates to redeem the 11 seats lost in 2024 general elections.
He said, he has the strategy to deal with NDC and thanked the delegates for voting for his comeback.
The elected regional Communication Officer, Fahad Usman explained that, he will work to ensure all the communication officers will be resourced and trained to achieve the battle ahead of them come 2028 general elections.
The elections committee chairperson, Jenifer Oforiwaa Queen, emphasized that the peaceful nature of the election gives an indication of how prepared the party is to capture power in the general elections in 2028.
