The Black Stars will seek a return to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) from September when the group-stage qualifiers for the 2027 edition begin.
The draw for that stage was held on Tuesday, May 19 with the Black Stars thrown in the same group as neighbours Ivory Coast, The Gambia and Somalia.
The four nations will play in Group C from September to March, 2027 ahead of the tournament to be staged in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
Ahead of the draw, Ghana were placed in Pot 2 with 11 other countries.
The winners and runners-up at the end of the qualifiers will make it to the tournament, which is scheduled to be held from Saturday, June 19, 2027 to Sunday, July 17, 2027.
