The leader of All People’s Congress (APC) Hassan Ayariga is certain John Dramani Mahama has been vindicated by the abysmal performance of President Akufo-Addo.
However, he is opposed to the fact that the former president is obstinately pushing for his re-election.
“I am going to be sincere with you today, if John Mahama happens to come back he will be the worst president of the republic of Ghana, if he tries to come and becomes the president he is going to be the worse”.
“Now Nana Addo is the worst president of the republic of Ghana but if John Mahama comes back and wants to be president again he will be the worst because they themselves don’t know what they are doing,” he insisted.
He has fretted it would be extremely disastrous if Mahama is to reclaim the presidency, given his appalling errors in decision-making which led to his huge and humiliating defeat in the 2016 polls.
He has stated categorically that Mr. Mahama will be the worst president ever in Africa if re-elected because he believes that the international business community will ignore him outrightly let alone to support his government monetarily.
He emphasised that Mr. Mahama has nothing new to offer likewise the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) hence the need for the true nationalists to break the duopoly and vote for APC in the 2024 polls to transform and develop the country.
