Host of Maakye on Onua TV/FM, Blessed Godsbrain Smart has thrown fire on Kobina Tahir Hammond, the Adansi Asokwa Member of Parliament, for insulting the youth of Ghana.
The MP had insulted the youth for hooting at President Akufo-Addo at the Global Citizens concert at the Black Star Square in Accra.
According to the MP, the youth lack sense and only make noise because there is nothing in their brains, describing their heads as coconut.

But Captain Smart who asserts the youth might have been rendered unproductive because of the unpopular policies from oldies like him in the country’s legislature said there is more the youth can offer this country which some are already delivering.
Speaking on his show Tuesday, October 4, 2022, Captain Smart said the legislator’s comment is an insult to anyone that esteems a youth and delegate an authority, as well as those who have made positive pronouncements about youthfulness.
According to him, KT Hammond has insulted the Asantehene because Otumfuo holds an assertion which he has made public before that, a nation is ruled with the youth and the success of kingship and Asante in particular is dependent on the youth.

Captain Smart was surprised how the MP could not utter anything “sensible” to a teeming youth who have been subjected to extreme hardship by his own government but to call them blockheads.
“Otumfuo said if Asante and kingship would be sweet, it’s due to the youth. He said we don’t use the head of an old man to build a nation but rather the youth. Are you insulting Otumfuo? The youth are suffering under your government but you couldn’t find anything better to tell them but insult them?
