Among the call-ups are two locally-based players – Hearts of Oak’s Benjamin Asare and Medeama SC’s Prince Owusu.

“The technical staff and two home-based players Benjamin Asare and Prince Owusu will depart Accra on Saturday to join the rest of the squad in Casablanca, where they will prepare for the crucial encounter,” a statement issued by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) hours after the squad release said.

The Black Stars are scheduled to hold three training sessions in Morocco before the match against Les Fauves.

Otto Addo is expected to have a full complement of his team on Monday, October 6.

Ghana currently top Group I with 19 points and avoiding defeat in the two games could punch the ticket for the 2010 World Cup quarter-finalists.
