Six Nigerian nationals have been seriously injured in a cutlass fight during a birthday party at Buduburam Ghetto in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

Report indicate, one of the Nigerian nationals was celebrating his birthday and invited his colleagues who initiated a fight during the sharing of the drinks and food.

Police sources say, during the party, one of the guys from Circle who was sharing the food provoked one Nigerian who said he was given less of the food and drinks.

This resulted in a bloody fight where cutlasses and knives were used. Report says the Nigerian slashed the Ghanaian first where his colleague Ghanaians joined in.

The scuffle became a Ghana-Nigeria one where wounds were inflicted on many of them.

In an off record phone conversation with Onua News, Asafohene of Gomoa Buduburam, Aldolf Nana Kwame who doubles as Central Regional ‘Street King’ says it took him and his men to separate the fight before taking the injured victims to St. Gregory Hospital for treatment.
