A 25-year-old man has been detained in police custody at Mankessim in the Mfantseman municipality of the Central region for refusing to pay a commercial sex worker for her services.
Reports indicate the duo went into an agreement for a fee of GH₵600.00 to the lady if she has a full night sex with the man without using protection –condom.
According to the lady, the suspect agreed to pay the money where she also serviced him as discussed.

But in the morning when the man was supposed to honour his part of the agreement, he was not forthcoming and tried eloping but was grabbed by the determined lady who didn’t want her labour to be in vain.

She grabbed him at the Mankessim roundabout, dragged him to the police station and asked the officers to help her collect her fee.
When asked if the allegations were true, the man confirmed that they went into an agreement as narrated by the lady but did not have the capacity to honour his part of the deal.
The young man is still in police custody since his detainment on Thursday morning, January 19, 2023.
