Controversial broadcaster, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, has averred the brawl between the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, and the Commissioner of Customs Division, Colonel Kwadwo Damoah, (retired) is as a result of a lady.
The said lady, whom Captain Smart named as ‘Suzzy’ seem to be an expert in locking horns of big men within both political and traditional authority.
He alleges the said lady once crashed a certain Majority leader and Minority leader of Parliament as well as two paramount chiefs of the Asante Kingdom where Otumfuo Osei Tutu II destooled one.
According to Captain Smart, the Commissioner of Customs Division is attacking the Special Prosecutor because of this same Suzzy.
“…But all these are happening because of a little lady called Suzzy. She is a little fair and used to stay at Siwdo, a suburb of Cape Coast. When the NPP came to power, she moved to Achimota, then to Dansoman, she went to East Legon and currently stays at Labone behind a certain restaurant.
“She nearly crashed a Majority leader and a Minority leader at Kessben Hotel in Kumasi. She also crashed two paramount chiefs. One of them was destooled by Otumfuo.
“Sometime ago she had a fight with some ladies who said they’re slay queens and it became topical in Ghana here. The same Suzzy introduced ‘Papa No’ in Ghana. What’s this same Suzzy doing between Damoah and the Special Prosecutor?,” he asked.
Col. Rtd. Damoah has described some investigations being carried out by the Special Prosecutor on Labianca Limited as a calculated attempt to dent his image and would surely not suffice.
During an address to some senior customs officers in Kumasi last week, Col. Damoah had disclosed that the Special Prosecutors report on Council of State member who had used her position to influence decisions from the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) was “hollow”. The said decisions led to a reduction in tax liabilities the company was supposed to pay.
The Special Prosecutor, whom, Col. Damoah describes as a “small boy” was attempting to discredit and indict him [Damoah] as well as the Deputy Commissioner of Operations of the GRA in the report being investigated by his office.
The comments have met several criticisms where many feel the personal attacks on Mr. Kissi Agyebeng, the Special Prosecutor were unfounded.
