Former Black Stars goalkeeper George Owu has advised Dreams FC to get early goals against Zamalek in their CAF Confederation Cup second-leg semi-final clash on Sunday.

He said the Ghanaians must at least lead by 2-0 into the break.

Without early goals, the former Asante Kotoko player admitted, it will be difficult for Dreams FC.

George Owu made these submissions in an interview with Onua Sports on Agoro FieĀ on Thursday, April 25.

The Ghana Premier League side take on the Egyptian giants in a crucial game, which will seal their final qualification should they win.

The first leg, played at the Cairo International Stadium, ended goalless.

For Owu, who played for Egyptian side Al Masry between 2007 and 2010, the White Knights will open up in Sunday’s encounter due to the first-leg scoreline.

“What [Dreams FC] have to do is they have to score early,” he told host Alfred Takyi Mensah.

“If they get two goals, it is better, then they defend and close.

“If they don’t do that, it will be difficult.”

He congratulated Karim Zito’s boys for going away to clinch a goalless draw.

“They have done well to get a draw there because when you play against these Arabs, it is not easy. They have tried their best.”

Some sections of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium will be opened for free entry.
